The awarding of the prize is a grateful memory of St. Nicholas, the most famous Christian saint revered for his kind heart and help to people in Russia, Italy and around the world.<\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap\">The award is intended for Russian and foreign organizations and individuals who have made the greatest contribution to the development of education, science, culture, healthcare and other important spheres of Russian society.<\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap\">The main efforts of the Russian Culture and Art Foundation are focused on supporting and promoting Russian culture, which makes a unique contribution to the cultural and civilizational diversity of the modern world and to the development of partnership between civilizations. It is expected that the \u041e\u0411\u0429\u0415\u0415 \u0414\u0415\u041b\u041e\/RES PUBLICA Award in honor of St. Nicholas will become a major event in the field of international humanitarian cooperation aimed at mutual understanding and rapprochement between Russia and foreign states, finding new areas of cooperation and strengthening common well-being.
